The Adult Toy Shoppe asked me to review for them, and were nice enough to help me pick out a body-friendly, phthalate-free toy, as this information is not provided on their website. They have generously provided the Wild G vibrator for review.
What it is:
The Wild G is a waterproof, rabbit-style vibrator made out of silicone-based TPR. At 10″ in total length, 5″ x 1.5″ diameter insertable, this toy is not exactly petite. The large battery pack at the bottom houses the controls for the two main functions: vibration and rotation.
The vibration originates from a bullet-type vibrator in the clitoral stimulator. It can be controlled with the appropriately-labeled up- and down-buttons on the battery pack. Each of the three speeds has a corresponding light so you know exactly which level you’re at.
The rotation function involves not only the rotating, non-jamming beads in the shaft, but also the motion of the shaft. If you take your pointer finger and use it to draw circles in the air without moving any other part of your body, your finger will be making the same motion as the shaft. Like the vibration, the rotation is controlled with buttons on the battery pack. The direction of rotation can be switched using the fifth button, marked “R/S”.
This vibe takes 3 AA batteries which are first inserted into a removable battery pack before being slid into the housing at the bottom of the toy. To maximize the life of both the batteries and your toy, all batteries should be removed between uses.
Because the Wild G is made out of TPR, it can’t be fully sterilized. You should, however, wash it with soap and warm water, or even use a toy cleaner. Be sure to store this toy in a safe, cool, enclosed space away from other toys. TPR has been known to interact with other materials, and I promise you don’t want your vibes melting.
First impressions:
The packaging, like much of Cal Exotic’s packaging, was visually awful. It came in a plastic clamshell-type pack with a picture of a gross, porn-y woman on the front. No thank you!
Getting rid of the packaging didn’t improve the experience much as the strong chemical smell of the Wild G soon filled the room and gave me a massive headache. I washed it, let it air out for a few days, washed it again, and let it air out for a week, and finally I could be in the same room as this thing without wanting a handful of ibuprofen.
Loading batteries was easy due to the removable battery pack, but it seemed weird to me that it wasn’t connected at all. The whole thing comes out, you pop batteries in, and then put it back.
T was terrified by both the size and noise level of the Wild G and refused to come near it.
Actual use:
So, after all of that, I didn’t approach actually using the Wild G with the highest of expectations. But after a number of very enjoyable uses, I have to say that I really kind of like this vibe.
The buttons are slightly raised, making them easy to find and use while the shaft is inserted. I can’t see the lights when they’re in my crotch, so I’m a little disappointed that some of the battery power is going to power up something completely useless to me.
The rotation function is a mixed bag. I don’t really like the wobbling shaft as it makes the toy difficult to hold if the shaft is partially inserted, and I can’t feel it at all when it is all the way in. I do really like the beads, though! They feel great in the first few inches of the vagina where all of those fantastic nerve endings are located. I found myself wishing that the motor was a little stronger, though. When I get really excited and am approaching orgasm, I involuntarily clamp down my PC muscles, and this can be very frustrating when this reaction slows and stops the rotating beads, especially when they’re what triggered the reaction in the first place.
The clitoral stimulator is strong enough to be useful on all three speeds. I found that the overall placement was good, but that the little fingerlike extensions don’t quite hit me where I’d like. The biggest one tends to sit over my clit, on top of the suspensory ligament. I didn’t notice the smaller two extensions, but they must have been doing something as I have had multiple orgasms with this vibe.
The bottom line:
As my first true rabbit-style vibrator, the Wild G has given me nothing but good masturbatory experiences. The spinning beads especially are a lot of fun. This toy loses points for being smelly as all hell, and for being somewhat noisy. I will continue my search for true rabbit perfection.

I agree about the beads. I really enjoy the extra stimuli. Can you endure max speed?
The max speed is almost required for me… otherwise my PC muscles slow down the beads too much, or even stop them entirely.

If you ever find a battery-operated toy that can rotate against strong PC muscles please let everyone know. I’ve got the same problem with rabbit-type vibes and I know I’m not alone.
I promise to continue my search! I recently acquired an elastomer Rabbit Habit, and the beads do *really* weird things with my PC muscles. If inserted, the beads won’t start moving at all until I turn them all the way to the highest setting. Booo.
